Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Hungary: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the navigation and maps category on iOS in Hungary saw varied performance among the top five applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed distinct trends in downloads and active users, providing a glimpse into user preferences and engagement.

Google Maps maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads beginning at around 4.8K and experiencing a slight dip towards the end of the quarter, settling at 3.5K. Weekly active users fluctuated, with an initial count of approximately 342K, peaking at 358K in late March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced stable weekly downloads, starting at 2.5K and closing the quarter with 2.2K. Active user numbers showed recovery from a low of 259K in late January to around 311K by the end of March.

Google Earth downloads were relatively modest, ranging from 690 to 1.2K weekly, while active users fluctuated, starting at 8.5K and rising to 8.8K towards the quarter's end.

vintrica Mobility had a steady download trend, beginning at 542 and decreasing to 223 by the end of March. Active users remained stable, showing a slight increase from 1.4K to 1.5K.

Természetjáró, a túratervező showed a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $643 in mid-March. Downloads varied, with a notable spike to 559 in early March. Active users saw a slight decline from 1.7K to 1.4K over the quarter.
